We fish near the Port Mansfield marina in Port Mansfield Texas and try out the new Oro de Oso lure that Gabriel Flores Jr. of Texas Made Lures made for us. One of the special things about fishing for us is that we get a chance to meet good people when we are out on the water. One this day we met @Carlos Reyna and he really helped us get started with lots of tips about Port Mansfield.
We ended up trying a spot that @Carlos told us about and I hooked my first speckled trout on the new Oro de Oso paddle tail. Unfortunately I tried to rush and pull the trout out of the water without a net and it instantly got off with a head shake.
We really liked the spot so we turned on the lightbar and light pods on the Sprinter and fished into the night.
One of the more memorable memories I will always share with @Eduardo “Oso” is him teaching me some words in Spanish of a very famous Ramon Ayala song.
One of my favorite nights fishing so far, good times brother!
